Northern Lights Cleaning Co.

This Cleaning Service Agreement ("Agreement") is made between:

This Agreement outlines the terms under which Northern Lights Cleaning Co. will provide professional cleaning services.

Scope of Services

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. agrees to provide residential or commercial cleaning services as agreed upon with the client.

Services may include, but are not limited to:

Standard Cleaning

• Dusting furniture and surfaces
• Vacuuming carpets and rugs
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, tubs, showers)
• Kitchen cleaning (countertops, exterior appliances, sink)
• Trash removal

Deep Cleaning (if selected)

• Baseboards
• Interior cabinet wipe-down
• Interior refrigerator cleaning
• Interior oven cleaning
• Detailed scrubbing of kitchens and bathrooms

Move-In / Move-Out Cleaning (if selected)

• Interior cabinets and drawers
• Interior appliances
• Baseboards
• Interior windows within reachable height
• Detailed cleaning throughout the property

Any services not included in the agreed scope may incur additional charges.

 

Pricing and Payment Terms

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Credit or Debit Card

• Electronic Payment

• Cash (if approved)

 

Late payments may incur a $25 late fee.

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. reserves the right to charge the card on file for completed services.

CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION AND HOLD POLICY

To secure an appointment, clients must provide a valid credit or debit card.

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. may place a temporary authorization hold on the client’s card prior to the scheduled service. The hold amount may range from $50 to the full estimated service amount.

This authorization is not a charge. It is simply verification that sufficient funds are available.

The card on file may be charged for:

• Completed cleaning services

• Late cancellations

• No-show appointments

• Additional services approved by the client

• Excessive cleaning conditions requiring additional time

 

If the card authorization fails, Northern Lights Cleaning Co. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the appointment.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients must provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a service.

Failure to provide proper notice may result in a $75 cancellation fee.

If cleaners arrive and cannot access the property, a lockout fee of $75 may apply.

No-show appointments may be charged the full service price.

ACCESS TO PROPERTY

Clients must provide safe access to the property through one of the following methods:

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. is not responsible for alarm systems that are not properly disarmed or pets that are not secured.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The client agrees to:

• Remove excessive clutter before cleaning

• Secure pets

• Provide safe working conditions

• Inform cleaners of fragile or delicate items

• Provide parking access if necessary

 

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. is not responsible for damage caused by unstable or improperly secured items.

 


CONDITION OF HOME CLAUSE

Cleaning estimates are based on homes in average living condition.

If the property requires additional time due to heavy buildup, grease, pet hair, trash accumulation, mold, or hoarding conditions, additional charges may apply.

Clients will be notified whenever possible before additional work is performed.

CLUTTER POLICY

For safety and efficiency, cleaners will not move excessive clutter, stacks of items, or large quantities of personal belongings.

Areas blocked by clutter may be skipped during cleaning.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. reserves the right to refuse or stop service if the environment presents unsafe conditions including but not limited to:

• Biohazards

• Pest infestations

• Mold hazards

• Animal waste

• Unsafe structural conditions

• Aggressive pets 

If service must be stopped due to unsafe conditions, the client may still be responsible for the scheduled service fee.

 

DAMAGE OR BREAKAGE POLICY

While every effort is made to prevent damage, accidents may occur.

Clients must report any damage within 24 hours of service.

Northern Lights Cleaning Co.’s liability will not exceed the cost of the cleaning service provided.

 

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

If the client is unsatisfied with the cleaning service, they must notify Northern Lights Cleaning Co. within 24 hours.

The company will make reasonable efforts to return and address the issue if it falls within the original scope of work.

SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. will provide all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment unless otherwise agreed.

Clients may request specific cleaning products due to allergies or sensitivities

 

PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DOCUMENTATION

Northern Lights Cleaning Co. may take before and after photos of areas cleaned for documentation and quality control purposes.

No identifying client information will be shared publicly without permission.

 

NON-SOLICITATION OF EMPLOYEES

Clients agree not to hire or solicit employees or contractors of Northern Lights Cleaning Co. for private cleaning services during the term of this agreement and for 12 months after the last service.

Violation of this policy may result in a $2,500 placement fee.

 

TERMINATION OF AGREEMENT

Either party may terminate this agreement with seven (7) days written notice.

 

AGREEMENT

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Cleaning Service Agreement.
